The Challenge

I started by analyzing competitor websites and interviewing the team at Woodymas to identify key values: craftsmanship, durability, and design. I designed the site architecture with a focus on clarity making it easy for visitors to navigate from product categories to project showcases. The design leaned into neutral tones and natural textures, echoing wood as the central element. Typography and layout were kept minimalistic, ensuring the portfolio imagery could take center stage. Using modern web tools, I translated the designs into a responsive, fast loading website that works seamlessly across devices. Iterative testing ensured the website matched both user expectations and Woodymas’ brand vision. After refinements, the site was launched and is now live at woodymas.com.

The Solution

The final website became a digital extension of Woodymas workshop. A minimal and responsive design that lets the wood speak large imagery of custom projects, clean typography, and a simple navigation flow. Visitors can explore past work, get inspired, and easily reach out for new commissions. The site translates the tactile warmth of handcrafted furniture into a clear, modern online experience that positions Woodymas as a trusted and professional brand.

The Result

The result is a website that feels like an extension of the workshop: simple, clean, and full of character. It highlights Woodymas’ projects in a visually strong way, while keeping usability central. The platform now serves as a professional showcase for attracting new clients on the island and beyond.

The Transfer

This project taught me how to bridge the gap between physical craft and digital storytelling. Translating the textures, imperfections, and character of wood into a clean and functional website pushed me to refine my visual design choices and development skills. I also learned how to balance aesthetics with usability creating a site that feels unique but stays intuitive. These insights continue to shape how I design digital platforms that capture the essence of a brand.
